First Grade began their digital citizenship lessons with Mrs. Clough today. We talked about the importance of being safe, responsible, and respectful online.




Good luck to our girls basketball team as they travel to St. Andrew tonight. Due to capacity limits, they are not allowing visiting fans. They will live stream the game on the schools Facebook page. First game starts at 5:30.

Mrs. Clough will be teaching Digital Citizenship lessons with each class over the next couple months. Today Kindergarten had their first lesson. We discussed media balance, and how to find a happy balance between our online and offline activities. Check out the family activity below. I'm sure we can all work on having more media balance!




In honor of Founder’s Day, Jr. High Beta Club handed out thank you cards & doughnuts to all staff today to thank them for their service to our school and community!


6th Grade History class is working on creating paper mache canopic jars from ancient Egypt. They are looking great so far!

8th grade students got to enjoy the beautiful weather today while reviewing for their upcoming constitution test.

DeSoto Grade School conducted a severe weather drill today. Students and staff did an excellent job of practicing our severe weather procedures.

Today DeSoto Grade School conducted an intruder drill in cooperation with the Jackson County Sheriff's office. The drill has concluded and students and staff did a wonderful job with the drill.
The regional softball game for today against St. Andrew will now be played at Elverado's field in Vergennes. Same game time of 4:30. Good luck Lady Rangers!
