Athletics Update:
Due to the wet field conditions at Ewing, the baseball game for today (8/15) has been cancelled.
The softball game will be played as scheduled. Bus time for softball is 3:00.
Parents of students in grades 5-8, please be on the lookout for the cell phone compact that will be coming home today. They are to be signed and returned to school by this Friday, August 16.
Please join us tonight for Open House! Students may drop off supplies, see their classroom, and meet their teacher. We can't wait to see everyone!

DGS Athletics update:
Baseball and softball practices will begin in August. Baseball will begin practices on August 1, from 1-3, and softball will begin on August 5, from 10-11:30. Practices will be at DeSoto Park. Students in grades 5-8 are invited to join.
Please remember ALL athletes MUST have a current physical on file in the office to participate (including practices).
Registration for K-8 DGS students is now online! To register your child for school: Log-in to your TeacherEase parent account. Click on the registration link. Registration should take less than 15 minutes. ALL students need to be registered by Monday, July 24.

The free summer lunch program is going on now! It is available Monday-Friday, from 11-12:30pm. Adults 18 and over are $2.00, while children under 18 are free. Please enter through the cafeteria door.
